APR head coach Rene Feller expects his side to go on a goal scoring rampage against struggling Kiyovu when then two sides go head to head take in the league this afternoon at Mironko grounds.

The Dutch born coach has not enjoyed his club’s start to the season, and hopes to bounce back from the shock 1-0 defeat to Police last weekend with a good result against Kiyovu, who have had the worst start to a league campaign in their history.

Feller, who has blamed his team’s not-good start the season on the poor quality of the playing ground, goes into today’s game hoping to add more misery to his opponents, who have managed just three points from eight matches.

"The grounds are poor, but I think it’s going to be a good game of football. Both teams will come out to win, which is why it’s going to be tough as well.

"They (Kiyovu) are fighting relegation, and they will be out to try and thwart out plans of winning tomorrow’s (today) game,” said Feller, adding that he expects Kiyovu to play aerial balls to destabilise what he described as his team’s ‘stylish game’.

Record nine-time league champions suffered their first defeat of the season to Police last weekend to fall back to second position with 17 points, one point behind Atraco and one better than third placed Rayon Sports, another team in the contention for the title.

SC Kiyovu’s newly appointed head coach Okoko Hakimana lost on his debut at the against Electrogaz last weekend, and he faces the toughest test to his credential as a capable alternative to Antoine Rutsindura, who was sacked after a return of three points from seven games.

The oldest club in local football lies on eleventh position, and defeat today will further dampen their chances of surviving relegation to the second division. Elsewhere, bottom side La Jeunesse plays away to Mukura while Electrogaz hosts Marines at Camp Kigali.

Police plays away to Kibuye, hoping to maintain their impressive form that saw them draw 2-2 away to Mukura before beating title hopefuls APR.

However, when Casa Mbuga takes his team to Gatwaro stadium knowing well that Kibuye have not lost at home this season, and defending champion Atraco are just among their victims.

Amagaju hosts AS Kigali in Nyamagabe. Amagaju have lost once at home against Marines and shared points with Rayon Sports before whipping Jeunesse 2-0 last weekend.

But tomorrow clash between the champions, Atraco and Rayon at Amahoro stadium provides the peak of the weekend action.
