How did the move to Rwanda come about?

I was in a camp preparing for a match against Nzema Kotoko. That night, my manager gave me a call and told me there was an offer from a club in Rwanda. An invitation had been sent so I prepared and left, it was on Sunday.

What really happened when you came to Rayon Sports?

When I came to Rayon Sports, the captain and some of the players really liked me. They said I was good. I played three games and coach Juma Masudi said I am not the player he wanted so I left for Etoile. Rayon did not treat me well and I will forever punish them.

What has been your experience playing in Rwanda?

Playing in Rwanda is good for me because I take it as a stepping stone. I have achieved something good in Rwanda, I believe in myself that I can go far.

The Rwandan league is not bad. Just like other leagues in Africa, there are some small things which need to be improved.

What are the saddest, happiest moments in your football career?

The saddest day of my career was on January 14, that is the day we lost 2-1 to Sunrise FC in Nyagatare. My grandmother died before the game so I was not the same at the time.

I have had many happy days. But when I score and my team wins, then it’s a happy day for me.

The toughest defender you have ever faced in the league?

I have not faced any tough defenders in the league though some of them try. No defender can stop me in the league.
