ITM Africa, a leading provider of HR Services in Rwanda, announced the appointment of Sonia Ntukanyagwe as its new Managing Director, effective January 2024.
In a related statement, Ntukanyagwe's appointment was hailed as a strategic move to leverage her distinguished career and extensive experience which align with ITM's objectives and values.

Before joining ITM, Ntukanyagwe co-founded and served as the MD of Shokola Café, where she played a role in establishing and managing multiple Shokola Cafés over a decade.
Her term at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) as the Country Programmes Associate and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Project Lead underscored her commitment to implementing impactful international agricultural development projects and fostering knowledge management and learning.
Ntukanyagwe holds an MBA in Project Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Development and Peace Studies.
