The Secretary General of the ruling RPF-Inkotanyi, Wellars Gasamagera, is in Beijing, China, where he is expected to meet high-ranking officials of the Communist Party of China (CPC), in a move to foster party-to-party relations.

Gasamagera’s visit comes nearly a month after China’s Vice President of the National Committee of the Chinese People&039;s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Mu Hong, paid a visit to the RPF headquarters, where both parties committed to broadening the framework of the existing ties.
Particularly, both parties agreed to jointly deal with climate change effects and terrorism among other areas.
While in Beijing, Gasamagera and his delegation are expected to hold exchange discussions with high-level officials of the CPC, RPF said in an X post, formerly Twitter.

He is also expected to visit the Central Party School of CPC, the Huawei Technology and Alibaba e-commerce hubs as well as some of China’s green development projects.
