Isonga FC head coach Moussa Gatera has warned his players against complacency ahead of their quarter-final return leg against Vision FC on Saturday at FERWAFA ground in Remera as they vie for a return to the top-flight division next season.

Isonga, who finished second in second division league Group B behind Miroplast FC, hold a comfortable 2-0 advantage from the first leg played last weekend. Vision FC finished third in Group A.

Goals from team captain Janvier Bonane and Raymond Kwizera saw the club, which forms the core of the U-17 national team; take a big step towards the semi-finals.

"We got a very good result away and we really have a chance to play the semi-finals but in the meantime, I have told players not to feel as though the work is done, they are well aware of our target which is a promotion, so we have to keep our feet on the ground,” said Gatera.

If Isonga progress, they will face the winner between AS Muhanga and Rugende FC in the last four. AS Muhanga won the first leg 3-2 away and they will host the return leg this Saturday at Stade Muhanga.

Meanwhile, in the other games, Sorwathe FC hold a 3-2 lead from the first leg going into the second leg at home, while Heroes FC and former league side Rwamagana City FC drew 1-1.

The eventual winners of these games will face-off in the semi-finals and the two finalists will be promoted to the first division.
