American celebrated Hollywood movie star Ben Affleck is in Rwanda, although his intentions for coming are not yet known. Photos of the Oscar winning actor at the Kigali International Airport have been making rounds on social media since he landed on Monday, May 29.

He has not made any post about his visit to the country on social media. The last known time Affleck was in the country was in 2007, on a business mission, where he had expressed interest in investing in entertainment, value addition in agriculture and education. Benjamin Geza Affleck-Boldt is an American actor and filmmaker. His accolades include two Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, two BAFTA Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. The 44-year-old, married to actress Jennifer Garner, hit the Hollywood radar in 1997 as the co-writer and co-star of Good Will Hunting, earning an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay along with childhood best friend Matt Damon. A number of renowned international personalities in the entertainment industry have previously visited Rwanda on business missions.
