Etincelles FC have signed Tanzanian striker Ditram Nchimbi on a five-month deal with an option for extension.

Nchimbi, 30, joins the Rubavu-based club as a free agent after leaving Singida Fountain Gate FC.

Etincelles have been struggling with goals since Moro Sumaila joined Police FC at the beginning of the 2023/24 season.

They have been poor so far this season as they are lying just above the relegation zone with 17 points from 17 games but coach Rajab Bizumuremyi believes that Nchimbi can help the club turn results around to avoid relegation.

Nchimbi previously played for clubs including Geita Gold, Polisi FC and Yanga.
