Fast rising gospel group True Promises is set to perform in Nairobi, Kenya next week.
The Mana Urera hit makers will leave on Wednesday next week and arrive in Kenya on Thursday evening where they will hold a live concert in Nairobi at All Saints Cathedral Hall on Sunday May 28.
Alex Furaha, the assistant representative of the group, said the concert is expected to attract over 2000 people.
Furaha described the concert as the biggest event the group has ever held out of Rwanda.
"I am happy. God is raising us and our music to go beyond the borders of Rwanda. It is amazing to know that our music has a good audience outside of Rwanda. We are going to talk about Jesus even with those we may have difficulty communicating with because of language barrier,” he said.
The team of 35 singers will also perform in an overnight service in Kitengela-based Reliese International Church besides attending an overnight at Kingdom Palace Church.
The choir has also in the past performed in Uganda, Burundi, and Congo.
Ever since they started singing in 2011, they have recorded two albums and are well known for songs like Mana Uri Imbaraga, Yesu Ni We Bwugamo, Wadushyize Ahakwiriye, Nzamunambaho, among others.
