The President of Guinea, Mamadi Doumbouya, arrived in Kigali on Thursday, January 25, for a three-day official visit to Rwanda.
He was received by his Rwandan counterpart, Paul Kagame.

It indicated that Doumbouya was officially invited by his Rwandan counterpart, Paul Kagame.
Doumbouya was accompanied by the First Lady of Guinea, Lauriane Doumbouya.
It is expected that Doumbouya "will have fruitful exchanges” with Kagame, according to the Guinean presidency.
It recalled that Kagame had already honoured an invitation to Guinea from April 17-18, 2023 in a visit which resulted in the signing of an agreement on the creation of a joint cooperation committee between Rwanda and Guinea, covering areas such as agriculture, ICT, education, mining, and security.
