The local basketball governing (Ferwaba) has released the group stage draw of the second division league that will tip off on February 10.
A total of 24 teams from across the country have been divided into four groups for the second-tier league, vying for the two promotion slots into the 2024/25 topflight league.
IPRC-Musanze have been drawn in Group A along with Rebero, Azomco, Agahozo, UR Huye and Nyagatare.

Group B comprises IPRC-Huye, ITS Gasogi, Greater Virunga, Flame, Kicukiro Buckets and Black Thunders while EAUR, WIBENA, Igihozo Ste Peter, UR-Kigali and Intare were drawn in Group C.
Group D has IPRC-Kigali is alongside Elite, Keplerian, The Hoops,Karongi and UoK.
The teams in each group will play between them on a home and away basis with the top eight securing tickets to the quarter-finals.
Inspired Generation won the championship last season and they hence earned a promotion ticket to the 2023/2024 Rwanda Basketball League (RBL) alongside runners-up Kepler.

They replaced IPRC- Kigali, Shoot 4 Stars, IPRC-Musanze and IPRC-Huye who were relegated to the second division last season.
