President Paul Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame joined over 1,400 delegates who attended the 19th National Dialogue Council, or Umushyikirano, which commenced on January 23 and concluded on January 24, with a focus on the country’s progress in national unity and shaping the future.
The two-day gathering is an annual national forum in which Rwandans discuss issues of national importance including national development, unity, and youth empowerment.
