RE: "Uwizeye finishes 2nd at 2017 Tour of Eritrea” (The New Times, April 24). Rwanda is fast catching up with Eritrea in the sport of cycling. Rwandan riders demonstrated at this year’s edition of the Tour of Eritrea what they are made of and how fast they have been progressing in the sport. Well done, Rwanda!

And with Rwanda having an ambassador accredited to Asmara, the cultural exchange between these two countries will go to the next level.

Once again, congratulations Team Rwanda for your outstanding results at the Tour of Eritrea. We will see you on our next annual pilgrimage to Rwanda — during the Tour du Rwanda.
