Over the past week, (April 7-13), Rwandans in and outside the country and friends of Rwanda, held different activities to commemorate, for the 23rd time, the over a million victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
Despite the official closure of the mourning week on Thursday, the activities will go on for 100 days until July 3, when the Genocide was brought to a halt.
We bring to you the moments that characterised the national mourning week at different memorial sites and how Rwandans abroad paid tribute to the Genocide victims.
