RE: "Winning tips for small business operators” (The New Times, March 28). More needs to be done if startups are to survive the first and subsequent years. They need incubation before they venture in the open market where they would compete with established businesses.

Adequate financial and training support should be set aside to ensure such incubators effectively serve the business sector.
