The initiative taken by the Ministry of Health to train some 211 homecare practitioners in palliative care is commendable.
Health is always a priority for any country. This innovative scheme will go a long way in making healthcare more accessible and affordable to the people even in the remotest parts of the country.
It is relevant to share with your esteemed readers that during the recent healthcare week, a partner hospital from Mumbai has flown in their top management team to meet and discuss with the Ministry of Health officials and all concerned partners on how to further improve this vital sector.
Through partnerships like these, Rwanda will soon become a medical and wellness tourism hub for the EAC.
