Amagaju FC head coach Pablo Nduwimana has vowed to surprise this season’s title favorites Rayon Sport when both sides lock horns this evening for match day 22 of Azam Rwanda Premier League at Kigali stadium.

The Nyamagabe based outfit currently stands in the 10th place with 25 points and are also eyeing a top seven finish. According to Nduwimana, a crucial win against Rayon Sport could perfectly ignite their chase for their target insisting that they will have nothing to reserve ahead of this encounter.

A win today will perfectly place them in the seventh place.

"We need three points to jump to seventh place because the teams ahead of us slipped over the weekend so we need to take advantage. It is always tough to play against Rayon Sports but we are ready,” said Nduwimana

On the other hand, the ‘Blues’ will be looking to register maximum points to edge closer to their eighth league title as they are leading the table with 52 points, eight ahead of second placed and defending champions APR FC.

"We have to give our best against Amagaju, and winning this game will give us more confidence and a chance of winning the title. We have to be cautious because Amagaju is a team that can stun you at any time and we can’t afford losing any point at this stage,” said Masudi

With nine league games remaining, Rayon Sports have lost only once against APR having managed to win sixteen and drawn four games.

After this game, the league will be called off as Rwanda will be entering into the commemoration week of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi which will start on April 7 to April 13.
