Handball league title hopefuls APR will be looking to cut the gap on leaders and defending champions Police when they take on two league opponents on Saturday as they continue to chase their first league title since 2009.
The Rwanda Cup and Heroes’ Day Cup holders are second on the table with 19 points, eight behind Police, but the former have played two games less.
APR will play against GS Rambura today morning before taking on Inyemeramihigo later on in the afternoon.
However; Anaclet Bagirishya’s team have a chance to cut the gap to just two points before Police play their next game – against GS Rambura – on Sunday.
If APR win their matches today they will move to 25 points before Police can have a chance to restore their lead to five points tomorrow.
