All is set for ‘The Audience of One’ gospel concert at the Solace Ministries in Kacyiru on Friday. According to Luc Buntu, one of the organisers, everything is in place, and they expect to have a very good show, and a big audience.
The monthly gospel concert is the brainchild of gospel artiste Buntu and his band ONE33. Its aim is to celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ through music and song and to win souls for His kingdom.
"We consider the event as therapy of the soul and heart. After one has spent a busy week at work, there is no better place to be than at ‘The Audience of One,” said Buntu.
Local gospel recording artiste Olivier Kavutse, his wife Amanda Fung and Beauty for Ashes will headline the show. It will also feature a slew of gospel acts including ONE33, Nancy Bukasa, Dorel Ndayisaba, Wallace Niyonkuru, Eugene Boss, John Mulumba and Sylvie Habimana.
The concert’s previous headliners include Nikko Ochieng and Noel Nderitu from Kenya, Apollinaire Habonimana and Dudu T. Niyukuri from Burundi, and Vinesong based in the UK. The concert will start at 6p.m and end at 9:30p.m.
