Light Gospel Choir will be hosting a live concert this weekend.
The concert called ‘Amasezerano yi’Mana’, will take place at Bethesda Holy Church in Gisozi on Sunday, March 19, from 3pm.
The 85-piece choir which was formed in 2013 consists of Bethesda Holy Church members.
Joining the choir will be solo vocalist Patient Bizimana, Healing Worship team and Herman Worshipers.
The free concert will also feature a sermon from Bethesda Holy Church’s senior pastor Albert Rugamba.
According to Emile Rutagengwa, the president of Light Gospel Choir, the concert aims at encouraging people to worship God and learn His word.
"We know that the world we live in today is full of distractions and temptations, so we organised this concert with an aim to encourage more people to turn to God and also to strengthen those who already know His goodness to keep holding on to Him for He is a God that keeps His promises,” said Rutagengwa.
The audience can expect a variety of praise and worship hymns from some of Kigali’s amazing gospel artistes.
The choir will use the event to launch its debut album Yansezeranije byinshi, which includes songs like Urera, Amahoro, NfiteIshimwe and Ubuturo.
