The word Trinity in the Bible refers to God who is the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit; three persons in one shared and divine being.

Pastor Amos Kajuga at Christian Life Assembly teaches about the Trinity and salvation, identifying three aspects about the Trinity saying that, there are no differences in deity, attributes, or nature between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

That God has always existed in three distinct persons and yet the distinctions are essential to the very nature of God Himself.

He adds that the distinctions between members of the Trinity are in the way they relate to each other and that they carry out roles that are appropriate to each other.

Salvation in theology, refers to deliverance from sin and its consequences and is believed by Christians to be brought about by faith in Christ.

According to the Bible, the words trinity and salvation correlate. In the Bible we also learn that God the Father blessed us and internally purposed us even before the foundation of the world, in other words, He spoke creation.

In Ephesians 1:4 we learn that God predestined us and that He chose us for in Him before any creations and in love.

"For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love.”

Jeremiah 1:5 also shows us how God the Father indeed planned, chose us before time and has ordained us for an internal purpose.

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Ephesians 1:11 teaches us that salvation is therefore according to His sovereign ordination and plan.

"In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will.”

When we continue to understand the Trinity, we see that God the Son is the executor of His father’s plan and was sent by God the Father in love to accomplish his plans on earth for our salvation.

In John 3:16, God gave His only son to come die for us on the cross so that whoever trusted and believed in Him would have an everlasting and internal life.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus in John 6:39 says that He came to save all those "whom the Father has given Him, in other words He came in obedience of His father’s request to lead us to salvation.

"And this is the will of Him who sent me that I shall lose none of all those He has given me, but raise them up at the last day.”

From the scriptures we also learn that through living a perfectly righteous life, dying a sin-atoning death, conquering death in His resurrection, Jesus took up His royal authority for us in heaven and He is today seated at the right hand of His father.

According to some scriptures, we also learn that God the Spirit is the regenerator and was sent by God the Father and the Son to apply to us all that the Father ordained and the Son accomplished.

However we learn that to apply this that has been ordained and accomplished, we must be born of the spirit first as it is said in John 3:6-7.

"Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.”
