The 2017 Peace Cup Qualification Round starts today with two knock-out matches scheduled to be played at Stade Muhanga. Second Division sides Gitikinyoni Fc and Intare face-off at 13h00 at Stade Muhanga while Hope and Esperance will battle it out in the second game of the day at 15h30. The remaining nine matches will be played on Wednesday, March 8.

Twenty-two (22) clubs will compete for the remaining 16 places to join 32-roaster clubs which will compete in the 1/16th round scheduled to start on April 19.
Rayon Sports are Peace Cup title holders after they beat APR 1-0 in last year’s final. The winners of the Peace Cup represent Rwanda in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Blues are already in the 1/16th round after thumping South Sudan’s Al Wau Salaam 6-0 on aggregate two weeks ago.
They will now face Onze Créateurs of Mali in the first leg of the 1/16th round on March 11 at Stade Modibo Keita in Bamako before hosting them in the Kigali on March 18 for the return leg.
