Financially stricken Southern Province based club Mukura Victory Sport will be without of their star players for the visit of Police for today’s league tie at Huye stadium.

Speaking to Times Sport after taking his team through yesterday morning’s training session, head coach Ali Bizimungu confirmed the missing players as skipper Canesius Nshimiyimana who’s injured dynamic midfielder Rodriguez Murengezi, who’s suspended for the game after accumulating of two yellow cards in previous two games.

"We want to try as much as possible and get three points from Police tomorrow (today),” said Bizimungu, before adding, "Police have improved this season very much, and you need to be at full strength to beat them.”

The ex-Kiyovu coach noted that his troops are ready to handle whatever Police throws at them as they seek to return to winning ways after picking four points out the 12 available from the last three games.

Mukura dropped two points at home against AS Kigali in their last league outing that ended in a dramatic 3-3 draw, and also lost 1-0 at home to Amagaju.

The two sides are level on nine points after six rounds of matches but the home team sits in sixth position in the table standing ahead of today’s opponents on goal difference.

Police have won two and drawn one of their last three league fixtures.
