Rivals APR and Police will lock horns in the national men’s handball league today at Kimisagara ground with each side hoping to win and keep their title hopes alive.
Both sides are yet to lose this season after three rounds of matches with Police at the summit of the table with 9 points, three ahead of APR in second place but the latter has a game in hand.
APR will be looking to add more frustration to the three-time and reigning champions Police after defeating them in the finals of the 2016 Rwanda Cup and the 2017 Heroes’ Day tournament.
However, Police head coach Antoine Ntabanganyimana has backed his side to come out on top against what he described as "tough opponents”.
"We are prepared enough for the toughest game of the season, we expect to face a very dangerous APR side, however we have had a good week’s training,” said Ntabanganyimana.
