Rwanda defeated Libya 3-0 during the second leg match of the first round of the preliminary stages of the 2023 AFCON U-23 qualifiers at Huye Stadium on Tuesday, September 27.
The Amavubi U-23 lost the first leg by 4-1 in Libya but Yves Rwasamanzi's boys have sailed through to the next stage of the Afcon U-23 Qualifiers on the away goals rule.
Backed by thousands of home fans, the support from the fans from the start of the game to the end propelled the players who gave all their best. The atmosphere enabled the Amavubi to strongly sting Libyans 3-0 to qualify for the second round of the preliminary stages of the 2023 AFCON U-23 qualifiers.
