UR-CASS vs UR-CE 10amAPR vs Nyakabanda

Unbeaten APR will take on Nyakabanda in the national handball league on Sudnay at Kimisagara ground seeking to win and move joint top with leaders and three-time reigning champions Police.

Meanwhile, in the other game today, University of Rwanda’s College of Arts and Social Sciences (UR-CASS) faces University of Rwanda College of Education (UR-CE) in Huye.

In their first game, the reigning Rwanda Cup champions APR defeated UR-CASS 58-20 while Nyakabanda beat UR College of Education (CE) 36-29.

APR did not play last week which gave their bitter rivals Police the chance to open up a three-point gap after earning valuable forfeit points against UR-CASS after the latter failed to show up at the match venue.

With the defending champions resting this weekend, Ancaclet Bagirishya’s APR, who seeking to end Police’s dominance, will be going for nothing less than a win against Nyakabanda.

"The team is in a good shape because we rested last week and the players are fresh and ready for the game on Sunday,” said Bagirishya.
