RE: "Gicumbi intensifies fight against banned brew” (The New Times, January 19). Applauds go to Gicumbi residents for forming a club that will help in the fight against the use of illegal and harmful substances. I’m also requesting other districts, especially those around the borders, to follow suit.

Let’s all form such clubs in our areas as a way to eliminate consumption of illicit drugs since statistics indicate they are the root of all evil to humankind.
