To me, a perfect weekend is when I have successfully accomplished my week’s schedule, and have time for myself. My perfect weekend starts on Friday evening.
From the studio, I pass by a video library where I pick different movies to watch throughout the weekend. Then I head home straight away.
On Fridays, I hardly spend longer hanging out. Strictly by midnight, I will already be in bed.
I love preparing breakfast for myself, which I do every Saturdays. I like African tea, with of course an Omelet and salads. I always have a warm shower before I get ready for my breakfast. Like it when I’m fresh.
I’m an energetic man, and I therefore must be honest that I love food. My favourite dish is a mixture of: Posho (maize bread), rice, cassava, beans and meat.
And, as a person with some knowledge about healthy dieting, I must make sure that I at least take a glass of fresh juice, water, or milk, after my meals, and breakfast.
In the evening, I resume my weekend schedule…I linkup with some of my male or female friends for a prolonged night out. Normally, I love starting my Saturday evening at Car Wash for its Nyamachoma (roasted goats’ meat) and Kacumbari (a mixture of row onions, tomatoes and hot pepper).
I also like the joint, especially when my club (Liverpool) is playing. Car Wash is a Kenyan bar and restaurant, in Kimihurura, only a few meters away from Cadillac nightclub. The joint is famous for its Nyamachoma.
Sunday is always a get-together day at my home. I prepare enough food and buy drinks, then invite friends and sometimes family and relatives to dine, while watching movies and we spend wonderful moments chatting and socializing.
I plan for my week ahead, especially on Fridays before mid-day, so as to spare time for the weekend.
