Rwanda’s fast rising musical duo of Charly & Nina seem to have started the year on rather a good note.

While their song, Owooma, with Ugandan upcoming R&B singer Geosteady, is receiving massive airplay both in Rwanda and Uganda, the duo yet again released a new song Face to Face, that is equally hitting the airwaves. The song was produced by one of Uganda's top music producers Nessim Mukuza.

On Monday, they released a video for their new song, Face to Face, shot in Rubavu District in Western Province, and already it has been viewed by more than 40,848 people.

Last year, the Agatege singers, had several country tours with several Rwandan artistes including DJ Pius, Urban Boys, Riderman among others.

Their hard work seems to be paying off, as the Indoro singers will be travelling to Europe in March this year for a series of performances in several countries across the continent.

"Charly and Nina will be staging a live performance on March 4 in Brussels Beligique, Bermingham alongside legendary Orchestra Impala. From there, they will be going to Germany where they will also be performing alongside DJ. Pius. We are also still in talks with organisers from Switzerland to stage a concert there on March 11,” Alex Muyoboke, the manager of the music duo, told The New Times.

Nina, real name Fatuma Umuhoza, expressed her excitement for the milestone.

"This is the first time we will be performing outside Africa as a music duo and we are really excited that our music is really going beyond the borders. It is a sign that people outside home are appreciating our music,” she told The New Times.

The duo rose to stardom after releasing Indoro with France based Burundian Big Farious that hit across East Africa.
