Infinix Mobile Rwanda made the official debut of the HOT 40 series, featuring the HOT 40 Pro, HOT 40, and HOT 40i models on Wednesday, January 10. These smartphones aim to cater to gamers across various budgets, providing an action-packed device to enhance their mobile gaming experience.

Powered by the Helio G99 processor and equipped with Infinix's XBOOST technology, these phones allow gamers to customize their gaming settings for optimal performance, ensuring a seamless and immersive gaming experience.

The HOT 40 series boasts a rear camera setup with 108MP 2MP(Macro) AI, while the front camera features 32MP, providing sharp and clear images with 0.64-micron pixels. The 2MP macro lens is ideal for capturing close-up shots of textures and intricate details. The 32MP AI-enhanced front camera delivers outstanding group photos and selfies, even in low-light conditions, thanks to its advanced front flash.

With a 120Hz FHD screen, the HOT 40 series ensures a silky-smooth user experience. The introduction of the Magic Ring feature keeps users effortlessly informed about face lock status, charging status, and voice calls. The phones are also equipped with 33W Enduring FastCharge technology, featuring real-time temperature monitoring for efficient charging. Hot 40i costs: Rwf135,000 and Hot 40 Pro costs: Rwf245,000.

In a press interview, Gilbert Bizimana, Marketing Manager at Infinix Rwanda said: "Embraced by 66% of our customers for its rapid charging, 46% laud its expansive storage, and 42% praise the processor. Our latest series unveils enhancements in processor, display, camera features, and software.

The new fast charging technology allows users to charge the battery from 20 percent to 75 percent in a mere 35 minutes. We’re also introducing an AI assistant and gaming boosts, these phones are meant for the youth and anyone who really enjoys playing video games or streaming content.”

Rene Nzabakira, Senior Manager Devices and Digital at MTN Rwanda, expressed the success of the MTN and Infinix partnership, stating: "Infinix Rwanda consistently delivers top-notch smartphones, their phones are among best-sellers in the Macye Macye initiative. The introduction of the Hot 40i and Hot 40 Pro, outperforming current market offerings, adds to our delight. These smartphones will be featured in MTN Rwanda&039;s Macye Macye initiative, providing customers with a convenient gradual payment plan and 15GBs of complimentary internet over three months (5GBs per month for the first week over three months). The Hot 40 series is now available at all MTN Connect shops, MTN service centers, and Infinix retail outlets nationwide."

During the event, Infinix Rwanda officially introduced musician Kenny Sol as the ambassador for the phones. They also unveiled plans to introduce a range of smart devices to the Rwandan market in the first quarter of 2024. This lineup includes airpods, smartwatches, laptops, power banks, and more.
