The Legatum awards have motivated our young entrepreneurs. As I sat back and watched the Legatum awards that took place at Kigali Serena Hotel, I could hear different voices of young entrepreneurs saying that the next time they will scoop the awards.

It is actually interesting that the awards came with cash prizes. This is just what every entrepreneur needs. Noticeably, we have a few women in the Rwandan business sector, but after what many saw at this colourful ceremony, a big number is bound to work harder.

I must also commend Janet Nkubana of Gahaya Links for her hard work. She has not only put Rwanda on the map, but also, she has given fellow Rwandan women a reason to believe that they can make it in business.
