Jack Kayonga, the chief executive of AgDF, appreciated the donation and said, with more resources, they can now invest in various sectors.

"So far, Agaciro Development Fund has accumulated about Rwf38 billion, which was used to lend banks but now we will be using the money in other sectors of the economy,” Kayonga said.

Kayonga shakes hands with a representative of Kigali Multiservice Cooperative after receiving a cheque of Rwf2m at Agaciro offices in Kiyovu.

The fund also received Rwf2 million from a Kigali Multiservice Cooperative Service that brings together Bralirwa staff.

"To see a cooperative like this donate something is very encouraging. It should be an example to the many cooperatives in Rwanda,” Kayonga said.

Tharcisse Munyaneza, the president of the cooperative, said the donation was their way of showing their commitment to national building.
