The group melted the hearts of gospel music enthusiasts with their flawless vocals, as they reminded fans at the concert of their worth.
By 4:00pm, the visibly excited revellers had taken their seats to enjoy a heart-warming evening of soul edifying and uplifting gospel tunes.
True Promises was the first choir to perform and impressed with their songs including No Longer Slaves, Umwema Nuwera and Tuzahimbaza, among others.At 5pm, the long awaited Rehoboth Ministries came on stage amidst great excitement, as the revelers could not contain the ecstasy.
Performing one of their worship singles from the 12-song 7th album, Golgotha, the glamorously dressed Rehoboth Ministries singers were joined by their fans as they sang along and screamed their hearts out.
Songs like Icyo yavuze, Kugitare, Yesu Uribuye, Ushimwe, Golgotha and Inganzo left revelers on their toes. The moment of uplifting continued as the choir performed other songs like Tuguhanze amaso, Imigezi, Guhimbazwa ni ukwawe, Nta wundi and Umbemo.
However, the entire auditorium erupted into deafening ululations when the choir performed Ku musaraba, and this got everyone dancing uncontrollably till they could drop a sweat.
Rehoboth Ministries is a choir, whose music has changed lots of lives and is continuing to win them the hearts of gospel music lovers in and around the country and across the region. The choir was established in 1994.
The concert came to the climax when True Promises and Rehoboth shared the stage, singing Kuri karuvari and Kumusaraba.
The concert was attended by numerous religious leaders from different churches in Kigali like Bishop Bizimana Rubanda of New Jerusalem Church, Bishop Fidele Masengo, Mudidi Emmanuel , Ben Serugo and the wife Chance Mbanza, among others.
The show ended at 8p.m; with all the revelers counting the evening well spent.
