The championship didn’t all go well to plan for the team of four boxers that finished in fourth place after winning two medals in featherweight and light heavy weight categories.
Rachel Iratuje (50kg) and Vincent Nsengiyumva (81kg) cruised to the semi-finals but both lost against Ugandan opponents.
The other boxers, who represented Rwanda included: Zakariya (54kg) and Mugisha Martin (51kg) but then they lost their first round bouts.
Hosts Tanzania were the overall winners with seven medals while Uganda finished second with six and Kenya came on third position.
