Today: FinalCharity CC vs White Clouds 9am Charity Cricket Club captain Claudine Uwase is optimistic that her team will successfully defend the UAE Exchange and Money 20-overs Premier League. The defending champions take on archrivals White Clouds in the final today at Kicukiro cricket oval.

Uwase says, "We have much respect for White Clouds but we’re the defending champions and I believe we have what it takes to beat them and retain our title.”

‘’We have worked really hard to reach the final and the definitive objective is to win the league, but we know it will be tough because our opponents have more experienced players and will be favourites going into the final game, it will be a big disappointment if we fail to retain the trophy,’’ she noted.

Charity qualified for the final after winning all their three matches in the round robin tournament where the best two teams made it to the final.

Charity’s top order batter, Dianne Bimenyimana has been so outstanding in the tournament scoring 123 runs and taking four 4 catches in three matches.

The four teams that took part include; White Clouds, She-Guards, Queens of Victory and Charity. Queens of Victory won the first edition in 2014.
