V-ball federation blew it

I had always credited the volleyball federation for its good organisation and smoothness in all its operations until recently when the national team participated in the men’s African Cup of Nations volleyball championships.

After the coach, Emmanuel Ndungutse taking charge of the team during its build-up, he lost his powers while in South Africa as most of the work was now assumed by the so called ‘specialist coach,’ Gerard Jouault who had been away for over four months. To me, that was ridiculous.

To a great extent, I believe that it was up to the federation to clear the air about who was in charge.

Due to this absurd scenario, the team could not get past the group stages after managing just one win in its three group ties. In short, I should blame the team’s poor show to this coach fracas.
