Kigali Jazz Junction

Jazz music lovers are in for another treat. This Friday, the 4th edition of the Kigali Jazz Junction Season II is happening at Kigali Serena Hotel. Uganda’s famous artiste Cindy Sanyu is expected to grace the show. Uganda’s MoRoots, The Jazz Big Band from Green Hills Academy and Neptunez Band will also perform.

Christian Film Festival

The 5th edition of Rwanda Christian Film Festival is on from Friday to Sunday. The event will feature a series of film premieres and film related studies. The final ceremony will take place at Kigali Convention Centre on Sunday.

The event will also feature gospel musical performances from Olivier and Amanda, Alive and Freed, Brenda and Yvan Ngenzi. Venues at which the event will be taking place include Century Cinema, Hilltop and Spiderman Game Centre in Makuza Peace Plaza.

Karaoke

Tired of being a mere ‘shower singer’? If you are a fan of karaoke, then The Royal Carwash in Kimihurura is the place to be this Friday. Join host Carolyne Nderitu and sing all night.

Movies

Movie lovers will be happy to know that Century Cinema is now up and running.Take the kids to watch Disney’s newest release, Moana, showing Friday to Sunday at 2.15pm and 4.30pm. Other movies showing include Storks, Doctor Strange, The Accountant and Fantastic Beasts.
