RCA Development Cricket Club will be aiming to be the first team to seal a final slot for this year’s UAE Exchange and 50 over’s premier league when they take on Indorwa Cricket Club in the first semi-final that will take place at Kicukiro cricket ground.

The on form newly created side is optimistic of keeping the momentum today, according to one of their star players Zappy Bimenyimana despite of the vast experience their opponents possess.

"We play as a team and fully support each other, it’s the secret to our excellent performance and we are determined to work hard and win this game and the whole tournament,” said Bimenyimana

Bimenyimana has been one of the most outstanding players in the tournament and his performance has been very significant in leading RCA to the semi-final spot.

He has single handedly made 101 runs so far for his team with hopes that he will double his efforts to steer his team to glory.

RCA- Development team was established this year in May by Rwanda Cricket Association. It is a conglomeration of young cricketers below the age of 19 who are being nurtured to become future national and international cricket players.

In their first competition, they lost to Terugu in the finals of T20 computer point tournament and they are the favourites to win this season’s UAE Exchange and 50 over’s premier league.

On their way to the semi-final spot, they won Kerala hunters and Terugu royals finishing pool A at the summit.
