News reaching us is that Ugandan musician Michael ‘Ross’ Kakooza has signed a contract with a local music company that will manage his music and concerts.

The sensational RnB artist Michael 'Ross' Kakooza who late last year released a Kinyarwanda song ‘Ndakwikundira’ signed the management contract with Promoafrika, a record label based in Kigali.

‘Promoafrika started in Rwanda in 2013 as an events management company and to date the brand is more of a record label, audio & video production, and into showbiz related matters’ Dj Africano, one of the record label’s founders explained the genesis of the company.

‘Promoafrika is currently in talks with Rwandan, regional, European and American artists as they look to expand their business in entertainment industry to the next level’ Africano added.

According to Africano, Michael Ross who  last performed in Rwanda in October 2015 at The Mirror Hotel will soon be back to entertain his fans. He also shot his Ndakwikundira video in Rwanda then.

Promoafrika also hosts the yearly 'We Are One Summer Beach Fest' since 2013, an event that takes place at Lake Kivu Beach in Rubavu.

Dancehall Queen Sheebah Karungi from Uganda together with several Rwandan musicians and Djs entertained fans who attended this year's fourth Summer Beach Fest in July.
