Will Knowless honour Madiba’s wedding invitation?

Singer Safi Madiba may not have been invited to songstress Knowless Butera’s high profile wedding last year but it seems he has decided that taking the higher road is the right thing to do. We are told that Madiba, who was in a relationship with Knowless for a few years before she met, dated and married music label CEO Clement Ishimwe, is planning to get married soon and his ex is on the invitation list.

Safi and Parfait

Madiba says that though she didn’t invite him to her recent nuptials, it would be an easy and happy task for him to invite Knowless because they have no issues.

Madiba, who is a member of the Urban Boyz, has been dating Parfine Umutesi, a woman who has married twice and divorced. Though recent rumors were circulating that the relationship was over, the two recently appeared on Instagram where they posted photos of their holiday in Dubai. We are definitely keeping an eye on this one.

Miss Colombe’s bikini causes internet storm

Former Miss Rwanda Colombe Akiwacu is not one to look for cheap publicity but that doesn’t mean that it won’t go looking for her. The beauty queen has been the subject of debate for the last two days after photos of her in a two piece bikini at the Miss Supranational 2016 in Poland emerged.

Colombe

The photos surprised many based on the fact that all the Rwandan contestants before her in the past have refused to wear the bikini in what most said was in honor of the country’s culture. The bikini session counts for 1/3 of the votes.

Debate was raging on social media with some sticking to the culture narrative while others were on Akiwacu’s side, saying that there is nothing wrong with wearing a bikini. The conversation rages on but for now, Akiwacu seems to be concentrating on the final which is slated for October 2 and will be broadcast live on television in 120 countries. We can only wish her good luck.

The Ben and Saga in a feud

Singers ‘The Ben’ and Ronald Sagamba ‘Saga’ may both be living in the United States and they may have done some music together, but rumor has it that the two have not been on friendly terms recently.

Saga

Though Saga is said to be laughing off the rumored ‘beef’, some say that he is not happy that he had to shoot the video of the song he did with ‘The Ben’ titled ‘Life’ alone. It is said that ‘Saga’ waited and after some time felt that ‘The Ben’ was more interested in his tour in France and Belgium instead of shooting the video before he decided to do it solo.

Though initially ‘Saga’ said that he sang with ‘The Ben’ to raise the status because the latter has a bigger fan-base, it is unknown whether he still feels the same way after doing part of the project alone.

Senderi is back!

Singer Eric Senderi may have become known to us at first as a singer but over the years, his antics have rendered him more famous than his music. Senderi, who has been out of the limelight for a while is back and this time, he has ‘resurrected’ with a single titled ‘Convention’ that he did with talented singer; Bruce Melody.

Senderi

Senderi released the news of the collaboration at the time when everyone is awaiting the results of this year’s Salax Awards. As is his norm every award season, Senderi is already declaring himself the winner of the ‘Artiste of the Year’ award. The singer claims that currently, he is the best ‘Afrobeat’ musician adding that he has evidence that he is leading with the biggest number of votes both by sms and internet, with 7000 votes ahead of the person after him. This is definitely going to be interesting but as usual, we are watching as it unfolds and will definitely keep you posted.

Amore could be the next big thing in music

It is becoming a fact that every music collaboration that Farious touches turns into an instant hit; so could Aimée Migabo commonly known as Amore be the next big thing thanks to her song with the Burundian talented singer? Only time will tell but what we can tell you is that the sky seems to be the limit for this young woman.

Amore

Amore’s ‘Die For You’ single does not stray far away from Farious’ usual club bangers but is also appealing because of the softness of her feminine voice. The singer, who is based in Liverpool, United Kingdom where she went to pursue further studies has already been signed to a record label and has already sang with talented singer Christopher with whom she did Byigumanire and later Sinkababandi. Could this be the beginning of something big? We will keep you updated.
