Reverien Simuganwa had always wanted to set up a pig rearing farm but lacked the means. "In 2013, I tried with two pigs but the project collapsed because I did not have enough starting capital,” he says.

However, the 21-year old peasant farmer from Bugesera District will be able to set up his dream project, thanks to a Rwf5 million bounty he won on Monday in the ongoing Tigo ‘Ba Miliyoneri’ promotion.

"This is a life-changing experience...I thank Tigo for benefiting the communities, especially for its customers,” said Simuganwa, who has been on the Tigo network for last five years.

Under the lottery promotion, one lucky customer can win Rwf5 million daily, while 10 customers win Rwf1 million each, and 100 customers can win Rwf100,000 each. This is, potentially, about 111 winners every day. One lucky customer will walk away with Rwf10 million grand prize at the end of the promo on December 31.
