AS Kigali will host Gicumbi FC this afternoon in match day six of the Azam Rwanda Premier League at Kigali Regional Stadium that kicks off today.

The match was initially scheduled for Saturday but was moved to Wednesday.

Also, the game between table leaders Rayon Sports and Bugesera was moved from Friday to Saturday and will be played at Kigali Regional Stadium.

Eric Nshimiyimana’s AS Kigali, currently in the eighth position with seven points, will be aiming to maintain their perfect form after defeating Amagaju 2-0 last week, while Gicumbi will be hoping to make a comeback after losing 1-0 to Espoir.

They are currently in the 12th position with only four points from five games.

Meanwhile, the rematch between SC Kiyovu and Musanze will be played on Thursday at Mumena turf. The match day five fixture was ongoing last Friday before being called off in the 78th due to a heavy downpour with Kiyovu leading 2-1 at Mumena Stadium.

According to the head of the competition, Jackson Rutayisire, the game will be played on Thursday as agreed between both teams and Rwanda Football Federation.
