Dear Editor,
Last Friday, November 14, I read in your paper that Police canceled driving permit exams that were due to beheld at the National University of Rwanda.
It is very sad that the main reason behind the stopping of the exam was that some one had charged an extra fee of Rwf500 before sitting.
Surely, for a country that practices zero tolerance to corruption, something should be done to punish the official involved in this scam.
Despite the fact that the person in question dismissed the claims, police should carry out investigations to ascertain the truth. Such people will act as examples to the public and this way, we are sure that everyone else will hate corruption.
