Rwanda U-20 national team (Junior Wasps) concluded their tour of North Africa with a 2-1 win over hosts Morocco in the second U20 Partners friendly match on Sunday at Centre National de Football, Maamoura.

Vedaste Niyibizi and skipper Savio Nshuti Dominique scored for coach Vincent Mashami’s youthful side to level the series 1-1, having lost the first match 2-0 on Thursday.

Morocco Football Federation had organised the U20 Partners Tournament to help partner federations afford a chance to their youngsters to display their skills as part of the on-going youth development partnership that exists between the partner federations.

However, Rwanda and hosts Morocco are the only nations that honoured the event following late withdrawals of Palestine, Cameroon and Burkina Faso. The national team is expected back in the country on Tuesday morning aboard a Rwandair flight.
