Yet again the beauty of Rwanda is in the forefront with Peace Kwizera winning the coveted Miss Naiades 2016 crown in Cotonou.
It is a well known saying that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. It’s no surprise that Rwandan beauty, Kwizera, the first runner up for the Miss Rwanda 2016 contest, caught the eyes of the judges and emerged victorious.
The Government of Rwanda’s belief and support to Kwizera and to so many other individuals is indeed commendable.
The values of being Rwandan came to the forefront during the event in Benin and it is my firm belief that this great land of a thousand hills will continue to inspire her people to strive for excellence and to perform to perfection.
I am sure Kwizera, author of Oh Rwandan Child, will emulate Miss Rwanda 2016 and be a great ambassador for her country.
