Niyonsaba, Ntambara named 2016 Groove Awards Artistes of the Year

Arguably the biggest gospel music event in the country, the 2016 Groove Awards took place Sunday night, honouring outstanding performers in the gospel music industry over the last one year.

Arguably the biggest gospel music event in the country, the 2016 Groove Awards took place Sunday night, honouring outstanding performers in the gospel music industry over the last one year.

Albert Niyonsaba and Pastor Grace Ntambara were named the Male Artiste of the Year and Female Artiste of the Year, respectively, during a glamorous ceremony at Kigali Serena Hotel.  

The ambiance was splendid, the stage performances were lit, and the awards went to some of the most talented and hardworking in the gospel industry. 

Also awarded on the night were Gisubizo Ministries, who were recognised as the Choir of the Year, while Adrien Misigaro was named the Diaspora Artiste of Year.
