Rwanda U-20 national football team will be hoping to win their second game against hosts Morocco, on Sunday, after losing the opening match to the North Africans on Thursday at the Centre National de Football, Maamoura.

The Junior Wasps lost the game 2-0, courtesy of two second-half goals from Hamza Regragui and Hicham Boussoufiane in a game in which Vincent Mashami’s boys struggled to impress.

Rwanda will now have to reorganise and ensure they put up a better showing in the second game on Sunday.

The Morocco U20 Partners Tournament was initially set to attract four nations only for Palestine and Burkina Faso to pull out at the last minute.

The tournament seeks to give young players a chance to showcase their skills under a youth development programme that involves the Moroccan FA and partner football associations in other countries, including Rwanda..
