INDORWA CRICKET CLUB captain Mihil Bhatt has applauded his teammates for their ‘outstanding’ team spirit after they convincingly defeated Right Guards by 68 runs in the ongoing UAE Exchange and 50-overs Premier League at Kicukiro cricket ground on Sunday.

"It was a wonderful game for us, the players played with enthusiasm and great commitment,” said Mihil, before adding that, "after losing the first game against the defending champions, Challengers, it was important to beat Right Guards.”
Mihil added, "We have to continue with this spirit and win the tournament.” Indorwa CC are in Pool B, alongside Right Guard and Challengers CC.
Indorwa and Challengers, who have won the UAE Exchange and 50-overs Premier League two times since the first edition in 2013, are on top of the group with four points, while Right Guards, champions in 2014, are bottom without a point.
Group A comprises Kerala Hunters, Terugu Royals and RCA-Development. RCA-Development lead this pool with eight points, followed by Terugu with four, while Kerala are without a point after two matches.
Elsewhere, in the women’s T20 League, Charity Cricket Club started their title defence beating Queens of Victory by 9 wickets. Claudine Uwase and Dianne Binyimana scored 27 runs each to guide their team to the top of the table with four points after one game.
The teams competing in the women’s league include; Kigali Angles and White Clouds, who face each other on Saturday.
