APR head coach Yves Rwasamanzi has warned his players against squandering goal-scoring opportunities, a phenomenon that has left the champions frustrated even against lowly league sides.
He was speaking in the aftermath of Saturday’s goalless draw against Musanze at Nyakinama turf.
Following the draw, APR are now in the fourth place on the log table with eight points, three behind leaders Rayon Sports and Sunrise.
"It is up to us to use our chances and win games,” he said.
"Playing a game of soccer is fun but only if you score goals, we have our work clearly cut out, we have to work on the scoring aspect because we have created chances but failed to make the most of them.”
The league will return after the international break.
