RE: "Govt committed to supporting innovative young entrepreneurs, says Akamanzi” (The New Times, November 3).

It is a known fact that there is a growing number of educated unemployed, not only in Rwanda, but across most countries of the world, including here in India.

The important consideration is how governments, other concerned agencies and the private sector, adapt their strategies and policies to counter this challenge and emerge with positive outcomes.

The Youth Innovations Fund is a glowing example of how the Government of Rwanda encourages start-ups and job creation initiatives. Likewise, the Business Development Fund provides the much needed financial support to budding young entrepreneurs.
