RCA-Development won by 4 runs in their second game in this year’s competition. Telugu Royals won the toss and batted first, making 123 runs all out in 31 overs.
Yogesh Kulkani made 64 runs but he didn’t get enough support from his teammates, who fell easily to RCA-Development team’s aggressive bowlers.
Eric Niyomugabo was at the peak of the lot with three wickets for 32 runs in 8 overs Kevin Irakoze 2/24 in 6 overs while Kevin Irakoze picked 2 wickets for 24 runs in 6 overs. In the second innings, RCA-Development managed to chase the target set and made 127 runs in just 18 overs, thanks to star man Uwimana, who, in addition to his 55 runs in 49 balls, also took 2 catches.
"We don’t need to get carried away by this win because we still have many games ahead, we should instead work hard and try to win all the upcoming games,” said RCA Development team captain, John Bosco Tuyizere.
